Hey everyone, I'm trying to get together the first SOUTHERN VERMONT OUTLAW race this november, on the 15th hopefully.

The race hill is near my town of brattleboro, vt, and is VERY GNARLY. i.e 60mph, with a short runout. Because of this, I only want people who i KNOW can skate it to skate it, we don't want any rough crashes and people dying. If you're interested in coming, pm or post here.

The hill is .75-1mile long, with a couple sweepers you take at 50ish. It's got very nice pavement, and not a lot of traffic. here is a picture from across the valley:

Thanks for the intrest fellas. If i don't get enough people to come for a race, i'll just make it an epic weekend of freeriding VT spots.... Either way, it'll be a good time. For those who want to travel up, shredding all weekend would be a good idea, we have lots of spots we can hit saturday (i.e ascutney/mount snow area possibly), and some fun freeride spots after the race sunday.

My town is approx. three hours from NYC, and the amtrack vermonter line goes right through it, so that's a really nice, easy option to getting here...

Awesome matt k, bring em down. I'm going to be sending some emails to sponsors and stuff, but i see no reason why this shouldn't happen. The one woman who lives on the hill is really cool, she's all for skating it, and she has a sweet dog that watches. I'll talk to her about a race, but there should be no problems.

Hey nick, I am circuslegacy on the fish. I'm most likely down but I'd like to check out the hill before hand to make sure I can confidently handle it. I don't want to be the one who complicates things on race day by dying. I live on the North Shore of mass and go to school at Green Mt. in Poultney VT. I am home right now and heading up mon/tue probably.
Any chance I could come by on the way up?
